Discarded cast iron seat and table ends are sourced from Woodend and surrounding Transfer Stations.
All ends are of different sizes, styles and weight with all pieces carefully sanded to remove rust and flaking paint, they are then spray painted to bring them back to new.
Merbau timber, which is 100% sourced from well managed forests and pre stained with a Feast Watson outdoor timber stain is then combined with either zinc or galvanised hardware for the assembly process.
The public have also brought both tables and chairs in various states of disrepair into the Woodend Mens Shed for restoration.
